The Supreme Court’s recent decision overruling Roe v. Wade does not just affect a women’s right to access reproductive healthcare, it has the potential to undermine core constitutional concepts of individual freedom. Join us for a discussion that will place the recent Supreme Court Dobbs decision in an historical and global context and describe the potential implications for other constitutional rights.

Jackie Gardina, Dean and Chief Academic Officer, Colleges of Law
Dean Gardina received her B.A. degree in political science from the University of Iowa in 1988 and her Masters in Social Work from Boston University in 1993. In 1999, Dean Gardina graduated magna cum laude from Boston College Law School. Most recently, Dean Gardina earned her Ed.D in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining COL in 2016, Dr. Gardina taught Law at Vermont Law School where she also served as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
