Enhancing Teaching, Learning and Application of Psychological Principles in Botswana

May 20, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT

Join us for a conversation about how psychologists are part of cooperative solutions: improving mental health literacy, influencing policy, developing evidence-based interventions and programs, and a professional collaboration including mentorship, research, and funding opportunities.

While one of the world’s poorest countries at independence in 1966, Botswana has since arguably become one of the world’s development success stories. Despite economic advancement, citizens of Bostwana grapple with the same socio-cultural, economic, political, and contemporary challenges facing countries within their continent.
