Medicine as a healing Presence has been replaced with medicine as a business profit.

We must return to some of the founding principles of our American medical education system which once stood as a global  icon. Intriguingly, our most current neuroscience may help us, referred to as “stress biology”.

Combining a statistical science of integrity with the communal ethics of beneficence from our medical roots and understanding that scientific and ethical integrity with Presence is neurotherapeutic for patient and healer. Perhaps, our medical education environment can be the hands where this “physiology of Presence” can be both taught and lived.
